Handwriting Requirements for SATS Level 2

Handwriting is now judged on the long piece of writing and is given 3 marks. The  4 criteria are:

A    Handwriting is legible

B    Size and spacing of letters is consistent

C    Flow and movement

D    Confident personal style

1 mark is given for A, 2 is given if B & C are mostly all right and 3 if all four are OK. The example below shows writing for each level.
